Ristorante Molo 26

In that part of Tuscany, not as well-known as it deserves, Graziano Ballerano, with his restaurant, “Molo 26,” represents a reference point for seafood cuisine, local cuisine, given that the fish he delivers is the freshest, freshly caught by the fishing boats of Porto Santo Stefano, a small pearl of the Argentario.

Graziano Ballerano

Graziano’s career began almost by chance. From shipbuilding to catering, his great passion, he made a turning point in the late 1980s with his first season at a restaurant in Argentario. This was followed by various experiences in other restaurants. His experiences with large teams and the most innovative techniques were crucial, as was his exhilarating professional experience alongside Angelo Troiani at Convivio in Rome, then a Michelin star restaurant, which prepared him for what would be the beginning of his personal journey as a restaurant owner. In 2018, “La Vecchia Pesa,” the Ballerano family’s first restaurant, was opened, and in 2023, Molo26, the current restaurant, arrived.

Porto Santo Stefano

Porto Santo Stefano is one of the jewels of the Costa d’Argento (Silver Coast). Located in the Maremma Grossetana, at the southernmost tip of Tuscany, it has a long maritime tradition. It is a busy commercial, fishing, and seaside resort. The town, known for its tourism, is an internationally renowned sailing and recreational boating center. Along with Porto Ercole, it is one of the two largest settlements that make up the municipality of Monte Argentario.
